Eric Johnson's Blog IT Architect - My ramblings on work, technology, & life in general

I discovered this great video on channel 9 about “Writing Agile Software”.  David Anderson writes the Agile Management blog that's been getting quite popular (and wrote a book on the same topic). He's been working with teams inside Microsoft increase developer productivity.

If you watch the video you will understand where I came up with the title of this posting.   I for one, have had more than my share of burnouts due to break downs in the project life cycle.  I realize that some developers out they are thinking, “I don't care about Agile development or CMMI”.  However, you can't truely appreciate what Agile and CMMI are trying to do until you have been through one of those “nightmare” projects.  Once you have, you start thinking about how to avoid that situation in the future and may start to see that Agile and CMMI are lights at the end of the tunnel.
